Service Description

Each week our staff offers a low-cost delightful self-guided paint experience tailored specifically for Seniors and Veterans whom are not able to leave their home. This relaxing event features custom pre-printed canvases that make it easy for everyone to tap into their creativity, regardless of skill level. Turning their living space into a serene environment where they can unwind, express their self artistically, and socialize with fellow participants. Whether they an experienced artist or trying painting for the first time, this event promises a wonderful opportunity to bond over shared creativity and relaxation.

Art for the Shut-In Program The JACCK Foundation for the Arts is committed to bringing healing, creativity, and joy to underserved populations in our community. Our Art for the Shut-In Program is designed to provide seniors and veterans—who are often unable to attend community events—with meaningful, therapeutic art sessions. Through guided classes led by professional instructors, participants gain hands-on art experiences that nurture self-expression, relieve stress, and foster connection. Program Schedule Monday & Tuesday 90 minutes 12 Participants Per Session Time Slots Available: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM Administrative Fee (Instructor + Travel) $75 Supplies Crafted & Donated by JACCK Foundation for the Arts Paint Paint Brushes Apron Towel Pre-Printed 8x10 Canvas Panel Guests Keep Painted Masterpiece Only
